巨型水泵徐徐就位 凯士比公司最近向奥地利linz的一家钢厂提供了一台该公司生产的最大水泵，这台水泵包含轴向分裂套管。 这套垂直安装的泵组总共13吨重，运行起来每秒钟能传送冷却水3300升。扬程大约高达17米。
凯士比公司介绍说，在发生故障时，这个巨型泵通过一个新建的一公尺厚的管道传送冷却水，将水输送到这家公司自己的发电厂，这在改善该公司的补给性能方面起到了很大的作用。
The KSB Group has supplied one of the largest water pumps incorporating an axially split casing ever built to a steel mill in Linz, Austria. The vertically installed pump set, which weighs a total of 13 metric tons delivers cooling water at a rate of more than 3,300 litres per second. The discharge head is around 17 m. The pump conveys cooling water through a newly built, one metre thick pipeline to the company-owned power station in the event of a malfunction, and thus plays an important part in improving reliability of supply, KSB says.
